There's something to be said for the agency life I guess. Things have been absolutely crazy lately. Lots of projects to work on and deadlines to meet. It's a good thing I love my job. Besides, isn't it amazing how you usually do your best work when you are under pressure? Oh, and that old saying of "you are your own worst critic"? I think that should be revised to "your client is your own worst critic".

On a different note: I wish I had a faster computer. This screaming 120 mHZ and 28.8 dial-up I have at home just isn't cutting it anymore.

My latest obsession is with magnetic poetry. It lets you create interesting phrases such as, "A deep sense of rhythm captured her silhouette as it shimmered through the smoke like a fiery old nude". Now you can be an aspiring poet (with the help of your kitchen appliances, of course)!

More fun with words: The Internet Anagram Server. Here is a variation on my name - "Hi creamy lens".

I spent the entire weekend troubleshooting my mac because I couldn't connect the digital camera through the serial port. Extensions on - extensions off. Appletalk on - appletalk off. Updated the OS. Restart. Restart. Restart. Arrrgggghhhhh! I guess I'll have to get a card reader for it. It's a beautiful camera, too. I don't even own it yet...but I really, really want it. Although as frustrated as I am right now, I might just look into getting a polaroid.

William Shatner meets Billy Graham. Actually, it's kinda creepy...I shudder every time I watch it. Speaking of "Kirk", as he is so fondly known, I recently ran across this site (he's not much of a dancer, though). And of course the classic ShatnerRocks.com (formerly the Captain James T. Kirk Singalong Site).

Countless hours of fun!

Some work friends and I usually go out for lunch during the week. Among our more interesting topics of conversation are coming up with new and exciting phrases such as "peripheral ridicule" and "attitudinal calisthenics". I swear, one of these days I'm going to make a list of all of them.

Speaking of lunch:
Mmmm, the delicacies of horseflesh. Ummm...no thanks. I think I'll just have the sizzle steak.

{confessions of a compulsive note taker}
Have I mentioned that I have an unhealthy obsession with sticky notes? I don't know what it is. Perhaps it's the fact that they're so convenient. Or maybe it's their bright appealing colors. Whatever the reason, my life is slowly turning into a potential fire hazard. Hindsight being what it is, I decided to check into this.

Immerse is still in beta testing while I continue to develop all of the content, fix bugs, etc. So if your reading this right now, I either directed you here or you stumbled upon it by chance. If the latter is the case - how's about some feedback, biaaatch?

This is a test post.

Hi all! It's sure been a while, huh? As you can probably tell there have been some major changes here at Immerse. Lots of new stuff to do and see with constantly added and evolving content. If some of you are wondering why I changed my site the way I did or just wanna ask "where the hell" I've been for the past 4-5 months, drop me a line. Make sure you check out the "Why Immerse?" section too - it might explain a little more. Have fun exploring...and as always, your comments and suggestions are always welcome!

Oh, and I finally jumped on the Blogger bandwagon. I'm slow like that. Go me.

Take me back up top, baby!
